Since 2008 hundreds of travelers have joined me to celebrate Thanksgiving Day in Puerto Rico while eating roasted pork with Puerto Rican traditional local dishes, dancing to the live music such as "merengue" and "salsa". Vegetarian dishes and BBQ chicken and turkey available.

"Tourist attrractions will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, so board the bus to have fun with us. Experience how Puerto Ricans begin celebrating the longest Christmas festivities on Earth."

Debbie Molina Ramos, Tour designer & Licensed Tour Guide since 1999

This tour is about...

...experiencing Thanksgiving Day, eating roasted pork and local foods.

Sixteen years ago, I designed a tour inviting travelers to experience how Puerto Rican celebrate Thanksgiving Day at the Heartland of Roasted Pork. Your will eat the local foods steps near a forest and next to a stream. I will talk about the foods of Puerto Rico with my story-teller style.

Transportation available for travelers staying in the West Coast. Departure at 8AM from ECONO Supermarkets in the town of San Sebastián. Seats are limited to a maximum of 13 passengers.

The “Thanksgiving Day Puerto Rican Style” tour is a food and cultural experience that includes sightseeing on board an air-conditioned tour bus to view the city, suburb and countryside heading to the mountains. Listen to Puerto Rican music while enjoying my home made coquito during your ride to Puerto Rico's pork country road.

Puerto Rico's "roast pig road" will have diversified social events and yummy local foods for a unique cultural experience.

    You will have fun:
  • having lunch sitting next to a stream
  • at a backstage tour with the cook that will show you how he pacts the pork with flavor and makes it moist and tender
  • dancing to live tropical music
  • blending with the locals in a festive and safe atmosphere
  • during your free time visiting all the restaurants that are walking distance from each other
  • shopping for souvenirs, arts and crafts
  • betting on a horse when playing "pica"
