Religious and Archeological Spanish sites in the northwest of Puerto Rico

"The History of Isabela" is a 4 hours tour that combines short walks with sightseeing. We will meet next to a statue at the town's plaza where I begin narrating the history during a walking tour. Every step taken inside the San Antonio de Padua Parish will lead to unique stories of the religious/cultural artefacts and arquitecture. You will also explore the building that still preserves the old cistern that served as water supply for the people of the town in the early 1900's.

Afterwards, a short drive on board an air conditioned vehicle to a Spanish archeological site with direct ties to Isabela's history since 1733. You will enjoy taking selfies at the second oldest hermitage in the Caribbean. We will walk along a beach and into a formal train tunnel. You will see the work of an artist that carved a sculpture onto the mountain of the most important Indian chief in the region. Finally, the tour ends where it started.
