hello tour guide google map

I designed this tour, so you can get to know and taste the foods of Puerto Rico where Puerto Ricans have fun on the weekends. The main dish is the slowly roasted succulant pork. Vegetarian foods and BBQ chicken available.

The “Heartland of Roasted Pork” tour is a food and cultural experience that includes sightseeing on board an air-conditioned tour bus to view the city, suburb and countryside heading to the mountains of the Island. You will enjoy the flavor of my home made "coquito" while listening to Puerto Rican music on board the bus.

Puerto Rico's "roast pig road" will have diversified social events and yummy local foods for a unique cultural experience.

    You will have fun:
  • having lunch sitting next to a stream
  • at a backstage tour with the cook that will show you how he pacts the pork with flavor and makes it moist and tender
  • dancing to live music
  • blending with the locals in a festive family and safe atmosphere
  • during your free time visiting all the restaurants that are walking distance from each other
  • shoping for souvenirs, arts and crafts
  • betting on a horse when playing "pica"

  • Puerto Rico Coquito

    Debbie tour guide review

    "El Guavate Tour"

"My husband and I joined Debbie for the Thanksgiving tour to El Guavate and it was awesome! We are so glad we decided to take this off-the-beaten-path tour to the popular (and typically) locals-only spot. Had we not booked the tour, we probably wouldn't have ever made it there on our own since it's an hour drive into the middle of the island. Going there on Thanksgiving is perfect, because everything else in OSJ was closed, plus it's a really fun party to kick off the holiday season.
The food here is amazing. Pork is the feature and is a must, but when you're here for Thanksgiving you have to try the turkey, too. It's SO GOOD. Also, loved getting to take the backstage tour and having a special area for us to enjoy our meal.
Debbie rocked. Her high energy, hospitality and organization made the day so much fun. Oh, and her homemade coquito is delicioso! Do it. You won't regret it."
